At Level2, ourmission is remission for people with type 2 diabetes. Level2 is an all-new,personalized digital care experience complete with coaching and clinical care,and informed by the latest in diabetes technology/wearables. With real-timeinformation on how food, movement, stress, and sleep all impact glucose levels,Level2 helps people make small changes for big impact.

Level2 is looking for anexperienced .NET Engineer to add to our growing team who will primarily beresponsible for developing integrations with hospitalelectronic medical record (EMR) systems.The ideal candidate will have a passion for working in healthcare and identify with the values and goals of anorganization genuinely working towards improving patient care and health. Thecandidate will have a documented history of exercising their computer scienceskills across multiple platforms including well-known Microsoft stacks inmulti-cloud environments

  • Ensure 360-degree observability within systems
  • Rapid prototyping within an Agile methodology
  • Work with product owners, designers, and engineers to prototype and implement
    product feature.
  • Develop functional code for features on multiple platforms and products.
  • Develop unit tests and integration test
  • Implement complex code based on guidance provided by lead engineer on initiative(s).
  • Review existing platform for optimization opportunities.
  • Provide analytical advice in identifying and implementing new IT technologies in order
    to help clients and the company reach strategic objectives.
  • Estimation of detailed design and development efforts and adhering to development timelines specified in the roadmap.
  • Utilization and promotion ofengineering best practices and code quality standards

  • Expert usage of design patterns and dependency injection

Required Qualifications:

  • B.S. in computer science or in equivalent fields

  • 4 years experience with .NET
  • 2 years experience with AWS or Azure and Cloud Architecture

  • 2 years experience with Agile, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery

  • 1+ year Experience building technology for Healthcare, specifically with EMR

  • Experience with microservice containerization and orchestration

  • Experience with relational and non-relational database technologies

  • You will be asked to perform this role in an office setting or other company location

  • Employees are required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener prior to entering the work site each day, in order to keep our work sites safe. Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders. In addition, when in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are expected to wear a mask in areas where physical distancing cannot be attained.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters in computer science
  • Java technology stack: Java, Spring Security, Groovy, Spring Boot
  • Experience with accessibility (A11y)

  • Experience with HL7 FHIR
