Job Description
Senior Business Analyst - Health Systems & Specialty Services (00002375)

This role provides comprehensive expertise and support with strategic and tactical business analytics to enable the organization to make better informed business decisions. This individual will work cross functionally to support many aspects including supporting analysis of build, buy or partner opportunities and analytics to support commercial deal strategy. This includes due diligence support, business case pro-forma development and building detailed analytical models to support the commercial business.

Work cross functionally with business stakeholders and responsible for providing expertise to analyze various data types, in order to provide meaningful information to support problem analysis and informed decision making.

  • Validates data to ensure accuracy and quality before it's distributed.
  • Analyzes data inaccuracies and recommends process improvements and best practices to enhance overall data integrity and quality of the data.
  • Supports acquisition / solution development / partnership financial analysis including valuation and modeling.

  • Leverages knowledge of business analytics and underlying data sources and builds up specific business data domain expertise

  • Monitor, assess, and identify methods to improve processes, services, and analysis.

  • Identifies opportunities and supports the development of new tools and processes to enhance the quality of enterprise data.

  • Assists with special projects and generates ad hoc analysis reports as needed.

  • Manage through roadblocks ensuring for optimal cross company collaboration and efficiency.

  • Performs related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, finance, accounting, economics, statistics, engineering, mathematics, computer science, strategy, operations management, supply chain or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor's degree program. MBA preferred. Normally requires a minimum of five (5) years directly related and progressively responsible experience. Must have a strong attention to detail and focus on problem solving and solution development. This individual must work effectively individually as well as in a team environment.

  1. Proven ability to work analytically; synthesizing vast data into relevant, actionable information

  2. Ability to exercise independent judgment and provide insight and recommendations to upper level management

  3. Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, quantitative skills and financial acumen

  4. Working knowledge of data analysis tools (SQL, Tableau, and PowerBI)

  5. Superior proficiency with Microsoft Applications including Excel and Access is required.

  6. Self-starter with ability to work independently and comfort with ambiguity

  7. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  8. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  9. Excellent interpersonal skills

  10. Demonstrated history of high-level support to a business manager.

  11. Understands market trends and operating assumptions
