SUMMARY:


We are seeking a full-time IT Asset ManagementCoordinator Senior (Finance) to join our IT Finance & VendorManagement Team. Ideal candidates will be experienced in financial andbusiness reporting, be detail oriented and show initiative in tackling dailyjob responsibilities.


Participates and leads contracting, budgeting, and acquisition efforts.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


IT Financial Operations Support:

  • Leads coordination efforts with IT contract management by; submitting RFCs, routing quotes to Supply Chain, requesting and processing PO's, maintaining financial tracking documentation, communicating with vendors, expense reconciliation and reallocation, and "P-card" tracking and validation
  • Directly supports and leads efforts to build operating and capital budget requests for IT and teams supported by IT
  • Supports the IT Resource Manager in the administration of reporting on IT operating and capital budgets
  • Drives process and tool improvements that improve the effectiveness of budgeting and tracking efforts
  • Supports IT Resource Manager by facilitating the processing of contracts and service level agreements with it vendors and contractors
  • Manages purchase orders for IT hardware and software requests including IT supported systems
  • Manages the support and distribution of cellular devices and services for HHS
  • Manages IT and HHS business accounts

General IT Resource Management Support:

  • Assists in the development of strategic planning for the department including financial and business support objectives
  • Assist in the definition of desktop hardware and software requirements based upon business or clinical needs
  • Provides leadership and coordination of IT policy improvement efforts

IT Request Processing:

  • Leads the development of and recommends solutions based on business analysis of processes and procedure
  • Leads the development and document business case/scope/plan, business/functional requirements in IT tracking systems
  • Questions proposed technical solutions logic as well as facilitate discussions between the various groups
  • Identify and validate business objectives, and generate solutions that align with the greater HHS strategy and IT standards

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information technology, sciences, math, or related field

  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills in a complex environment

  • 1-2 years Project management experience

  • Five years of experience in Information Technology

  • Two years financial operations support experience, or four years of experience as an IT Business Analyst

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Healthcare industry experience


Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities:

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 2013, particularly Excel & PowerPoint

  • Experience in the planning, design, implementation, and ongoing support of Microsoft desktop operating systems and related applications (MS-Office, Visio, Project, etc)

  • Understanding of overall IT infrastructure architecture and the ability to assist in the definition of desktop hardware and software requirements based upon business or clinical needs

  • A demonstrated ability to lead technical projects, handling day-to-day task management, prioritization, support, and providing effective communications with team members, including status reporting

  • Workers may also be required to lift heavy materials from the IT storeroom shelves

  • Direct experience with software asset management projects or the management of various IT asset lifecycle efforts

  • Strong Interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with management, peers, and customers via reports, email and verbal updates
