Job Description
Under the direction of the Regional Vice President, oversees the management function as it relates to branch operations within the Region. Facilitates and implements the standard operating procedures and "Best Practices" to ensure operational integrity and to achieve the Company's objectives. Interacts with Corporate departments to include Compliance, Risk, Quality Control, Human Resources, Underwriting, Closing and Funding. Acts as liaison between the Region, Branches and National OperationsPRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: * Evaluates and analyzes workflow and performance to ensure loans are processed, approved and closed in complete accordance with Envoy, federal, state and regulatory requirements. * Monitors branches to insure that they meet or exceed established Company guidelines as defined by the Envoy Best Purchase Money Lender standards. Promotes operational efficiencies to insure superior and timely file submissions and a smooth file flow * Assists in general supervision of branch operations and Envoy policies and procedures * Identifies training needs of branch staff members and communicates effectively with Corporate Training Department to ensure proper training tools are designed/established and implemented * Assists in the initial and ongoing training of the branch processing staff * Facilitates all ops-related initiatives for the branches * Manages third level underwriting requests between the branches and Underwriting Manager(s) * Participates in Loan Committee calls * Assists RVP with all on-boarding and off-boarding of sales staff * Manages on-boarding and off-boarding of operations staff in coordination with the Branch Manager * Troubleshoots and is primary resource for operational issues for Branch Managers, Ops Managers, L.O's and staff. Promotes a team effort environment * Insures branch internal and external customer service excellence is maintained * Reviews and manages Branch Score Cards and Branch Rankings Report to insure branches meet or exceed Company standards * Provides guidance on payroll issues and personnel matters * Focuses on loans closed per full time employee * Creates strong relationships at all levels to insure buy in and support of this position * Utilizes diverse experience, knowledge and expertise to accomplish varied job responsibilities * Assists the RVP as needed THIS JOB DESCRIPTION IS NOT INTENDED TO BE ALL-INCLUSIVE. THE INCUMBENT WILL ALSO PERFORM OTHER REASONABLY RELATED BUSINESS DUTIES AS ASSIGNED BY MANAGEMENT. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor Degree in Business or related field preferred * Minimum 5-7 years mortgage banking experience, with 3-5 years management experience * * Maintains working knowledge of Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac and FHA/VA policies and guidelines, as well as regulatory compliance, state, federal, local government, private investors and insurers * Must have working knowledge of all operating systems with the ability to facilitate training * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Excellent organizational skills * Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously * Demonstrated ability to interact successfully with branch, regional and corporate management, as well as realtors, sales agents, third party vendors, etc. * Demonstrated judgment and decision making ability * Travel is required as directed by RVP * Ability to perform other job-related duties as requested by RVP PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and on occasion up to 50 pounds * While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear * The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl * Extensive driving and air travel Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled
