Job Description

Responsibilities

Field Engineering Position providing Tier 1 Optimization for DAS & SmallCell Commissioning. Exemplify Post Construction-Engineering Services Suite to customers across US Markets.

Roles and Responsibilities -

Provide onsite technical throughput for Commissioning of DAS/Small Cell Products in all major US Markets. Complete objectives through commissioning steps outlined by customer standards. Serve as field-based counterpart to Engineering departments - Commissioning, Integration, & Optimization.

Maintains certifications in all Major DAS OEM Product Lines.

Maintain Proficiency in all major RF Testing Tools

  • Anritsu BTS Master
  • JDSU/Viavi RF Analyzers
  • CW Signal Generators

Ability to perform Quality Audits on outside Vendors performing Commissioning Process.

Ability to read sweep test results.

Solid Understanding of Passive Intermodulation and remediation.

Proficient in RF validation testing and tools.

Ability to perform functional call tests and verify reports.

Ability to read and interpret DAS RFDS, CIQ & plumbing diagrams.

Knowledge and understanding of in-building RF propagation.

Ability to coordinate with teams and/or oversee system optimization of DAS, Small Cell, indoor and outdoor systems.

Work closely with design & optimization teams to troubleshoot issues that arise throughout deployment process.

Familiar with Data Collection Tools utilized within the industry (TEMS, NEMO Walker Air, Datapro)


Qualifications

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Six or more years of work experience
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience
  • Willingness to travel (Field based position with 50-75% Travel required.)
  • Valid Driver's License

  • Excellent technical knowledge with strong MS Office showcase
  • Verbal and written skills for proper communication amongst customers and organizational departments
  • Solid Understanding of Telecom Networks, Mobile Wireless Operators, and RF Propagation.
