Job Summary

The Human Resources Coordinator works as part of the HR & Payroll team, under the direction of the Senior Human Resources & Payroll Manager. This position primarily focuses on full cycle recruiting and supports onboarding activities. The HR Coordinator also provides administrative support for various Human Resources & Payroll processes.

Essential Job Function:

Recruiting activities:

  • Recruit for assigned open positions - includes searching Monster, LinkedIn Recruiter, student & ADP databases
  • Publish and keep track of job postings on LinkedIn and ADP
  • Phone screens, gather salary history from candidates; Keep interview Notes in Recruiting Database; Setting Up Interviews and emailing application links; Obtain manager feedback
  • Candidate Testing/Assessments; Gather non-competes; Background Screens
  • Manager Reference Checks, get copies of degrees from applicants, confirm W-2 income for sales rep candidates
  • Attend Trade shows, conventions where other resellers are present. Make initial contact with potential candidates

HR Activities:

  • Run HRB Reports such as monthly hires, monthly changes, applications received, etc - this is used for Headcount Reporting
  • Attend webinars and seminars to increase overall knowledge; Attend ADP training; Assist with training activities
  • Assist with HR research
  • Check Previous Employment for potential hires
  • Rep Loaner Letters - send computer equipment receipts & keep log
  • Answer Employee Questions about Payroll, HR, Benefits

Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis in business or Human Resources (or equivalent experience)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, reading comprehension, and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe
  • Strong time management skills to include flexibility to coordinate multiple assignments and successfully follow through to completion
  • Good interpersonal skills (active listening, social awareness, self-management, etc.)
