Job Description
Position Overview:
Phillips-Medisize, a Molex Company, is seeking a Site Trainer to organize, facilitate and manage the various training programs at our Global Innovation and Development center in Hudson, WI.

Essential Functions:
  • Deliver training to site employees
  • Oversight and leadership of Training program at location
  • Instruct classroom training
  • Identify shop floor trainers
  • Audit training process
  • Ensure integrity of the programs
  • Report on results
  • Organizes and develops training material and manuals, reference library, testing and evaluation procedures, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials
  • Schedules and conducts training classes based on training needs, and supporting various work and production schedules
  • Assist in researching outside consultants and trainers to conduct training in specific topics
  • Compiles data and analyzes past and current year training requirements
  • Confers with managers and supervisors to determine training needs
  • Conduct technical training (medical/defense) in accordance with business needs, compliance requirements and, Quality Management Systems
  • Work with subject matter experts and shares information with corporate training to ensure training content is accurate and relevant
  • Complete and deploy surveys and analyze the data to assist in decision making

Position Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical field or adult education/training; or equivalent mix of education and experience.
  • Experience working with various work groups within Phillips-Medisize
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in one of the following related fields:

  • Manufacturing processes
  • Adult education/training
  • Computer/software

Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • Strong formal and informal presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft office and other software applications
