Job Description Position Overview: Phillips-Medisize is seeking an Operations Manager to support the assembly department of our medical manufacturing facility in New Richmond, WI.
Provide direction and leadership to assembly operations
Develop organizational leadership and support structures and effectively communicate expectations and priorities.
Organize and coordinate activities within the manufacturing operation to meet or exceed the facility and corporate goals, including working with engineering group
Forecast capital expenditures for improvement, replacement, or modification to production equipment and facilities
Lead and Coach teams to drive a high-performance culture that accommodates rapid and dynamic growth and results in Operational Excellence and high employee engagement.
Develop, maintain and improve systems/procedures
Establish a culture of operational excellence requirements and facilitate the incorporation in to the operations. Foster the adaptation and ownership while driving the expectations around sustaining best practices.
Proactively forecast direct labor requirements and develop creative solutions to achieve capacities along with industry-leading flexibility
Incorporate appropriate levels of compliance performance monitoring and a reporting system around compliance and discipline
Ensure effective and successful transfer of new Medical Assembly products into manufacturing in conjunction with Pre-Production - efficient and cost-effective capacity ramping and scaling to commercialization

Position Qualifications Required Qualifications:
Bachelors' degree in a manufacturing related discipline
Experienced in medical manufacturing
Experience with injection molding, extrusion or other related molding highly preferred
Minimum 8 years work experience in a large manufacturing environment
Minimum 8 years' experience leading/supervising people
Skills and Abilities:
Leadership skills including ability to maintain confidentiality
Decision making and prioritization skills
Operational Excellence knowledge
Strong organizational skills
Ability to achieve desired results by influencing peer groups within the facility
