The purpose of this position is to ensure accurate and quality catering services to departments at the Hazelden Betty Ford Center City campus. Cash Cater Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating all activities necessary to price catering orders, increase efficiency in catering ordering processes, set and meet goals for guest service and product quality standards, inventory control and following company policies and procedures to perform duties. Ability to organize, plan and prioritize several job functions and responsibilities as they relate to customer needs, in a timely manner, on a daily basis along with making decisions to take action steps to respond to crisis situations as needed. Ability to follow and give verbal and written instructions.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of related catering, food service and cashiering experience
Minimum 5 years customer service experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of cashier catering operations with the ability to operate, disassemble, clean. Sanitize and reassemble equipment. Having the ability to create quality product to the specifications of the customer is essential while working directly with departments to meet their needs to a specific event. This includes communication, interaction, decision making and action steps.
Ideally the best candidate will have the ability to work independently and take the initiative to complete tasks in a timely matter while still providing quality services.
Ability to withstand a variety of physical demands including lifting up to 40 pounds routinely, with standing high temperatures, bending, walking and standing throughout the entire shift.
