Assists in the oversight of the Collections Department. Manage all aspects and responsibilities of the collection cycle for a team of collectors. Maintains accountability for compliance with all laws, regulations and policies governing our industry.
Essential Duties
Provides leadership and supervision for facility and all direct staff
Has a thorough knowledge of the operating system, reporting functions and overall collection process
Ensures quality level maintained and “friendly but firm” mission enforced
Ensures that policies and procedures are followed
Follows all corporate guidelines and responsibilities
Promotes company recognition and growth within the community
Develops new ideas or processes and monitors results
Provides continued training and leadership for all collections personnel
Ensures both he/she and his/her staff thoroughly document all collection efforts on accounts
Provides training to his/her staff to correct deficient areas noted in reviews or audits and taking corrective action with his/her staff when necessary
Resolves debtor complaints and handles account problem resolution
Providing highly effective collection training on how to collect the different types of debt owned by Cavalry Investments.
Convey production expectations; How to work a file, number of accounts worked number of promises, and collection dollars.
Work 50-55 hours per week

Skills/ Qualifications
BA/BS or equivalent experience
3 years 3rd party collection experience & 5+ years collection experience
Leadership experience in the call center environment
Strong computer skills in MS Office and Outlook
Thorough knowledge of the FDCPA, FCRA and applicable laws, regulations and policies governing collections
Strong collection talk off and negotiation skills and success at collecting outstanding debts
Organizational skills with the ability to effectively handle multiple tasks
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication & excellent interpersonal skills
