Job Description
Capstone Services serves adults with developmental disabilities in group homes throughout the Metro area. We are seeking a Live-In Habilitation Counselor to live at one of our Saint Paul locations.
JOB SUMMARY: The position is an asleep overnight position Sunday through Thursday, with monring hours Monday through Friday. There is a live-in space, which is considered your home. As a Live-In Habilitation Counselor, you will be responsible for assisting in case of an emergency at night for the consumers (for example: a fire, a consumer who gets sick, etc.) as well as assist with morning routines as needed.
EDUCATION: Must possess at minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent. Preferred to have successfully completed post high school education in a related field: NOTE: One year related work experience with successful completion of all related orientation and training requirements can be substituted for post high school education.
EXPERIENCE: Prefer one year experience working in the provision of habilitation services to individuals

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- 18 years old
- Possess at minimum a high school dipolma or equivalent
- Legally eligible for employment in the United States
- Be able to pass a criminal background check
- Be able to read, write and speak the English language
- Complete all training requirements; meet licensing requirements of the state and county
- Possess valid driver's license and maintain necessary insurance coverage
