Position Summary:
The Executive Director is responsible for overall leadership, management and success of their community.  These responsibilities include but are not limited to financial management, hiring, supervising, training, team member relations and recognition, communities, family services, resident well-being, quality assurance and regulatory compliance. Additionally a key component of this position is the ownership of Sales and Marketing process to ensure maximization of revenue and Keystone Senior Living market positioning.
 
 
Experience and Qualifications:
 
  • College degree preferred.  
  • Two (2) years’ experience in business financial/account and two (2) years of experience in a human resource generalist role
  • Competent in organizational, time management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Ability to delegate assignments to appropriate team members
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to facilitate small group presentations
  • Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
  • Has demonstrated proficiency in computer skills – Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work weekends, evening and flexible hours
  • Supervisory and management experience including hiring staff, coaching, performance management.
  • Has a working knowledge of the physical, emotional, social and economic problems relating to the geriatric population.

  • Positive work attitude and ability to work as a team with other team members
  • Ability to relate professionally with resident, family members and staff
 
                       
Essential Responsibilities:
 
  • Leads with Mission in mind first
  • Leads with the Keystone Leadership Pledge and Team Member Pledge
  • Effectively casts vision, strategy and hope for tomorrow
  • Effectively leads the Keystone stand up meeting, weekly department head meeting, monthly town hall meeting and monthly safety committee
  • Champions optimization of occupancy by:
  • Conducting weekly meetings with his/her leasing advisors
  • Maintaining 95% + occupancy
  • Develops a whole home culture on the importance of occupancy
  • Involvement in external business development
  • Has thorough knowledge of the written marketing plan
  • Meets or exceeds budgeted NOI
  • Maintains expenses within budget
  • Food ppd within budget
  • Labor costs within budget
  • OT% within budget
  • Champions team member productivity and engagement
  • Champions resident and family engagement
  • Maintains regulatory compliance with deficiency free department of health surveys
  • Maintains an “A” on the Keystone Quality Services Review
  • Champions resident care
  • Reads communication logs and incident reports daily
  • Quickly rectifies resident and family issues
