Entry to Mid-Level Landscape Architect/Designer Sambatek, Inc.
Sambatek is currently seeking an entry to mid-level Landscape Architect/Designer for our Landscape Architecture group. This individual will collaborate on exciting landscape architecture projects within our Land Development team.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Work in collaborative integrated teams of professionals that include civil engineers, planners, environmental scientists, architects, transportation engineers, and building systems engineers
Review and interpret regulatory codes, ordinances, and comprehensive plans
Review and analyze land features relating to opportunities and constraints for development
Prepare due diligence analysis, land development concepts, design development plans and graphic illustrations using both digital and hand drawn formats
Work with senior landscape architects to develop and refine design solutions
Use in depth knowledge of woody and herbaceous plant materials in preparing planting plans and landscape master plans
Participate in project meetings with staff, clients, & regulatory agencies
Assist in editing technical plans, details, and specifications
Visit construction sites to gather information, review design intent, inform and support senior project team members during the construction phase
Consult with product manufacturers, evaluate and select construction materials
Required Experience:
Degree in Landscape Architecture
0-5 years of professional experience
LA registration or working towards registration
Experience in construction drawing development
Computer skills including AutoCAD, Sketch-up and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, In-design), Microsoft Word, and MS Excel
Technical knowledge of landscape architectural site development elements and materials
Technical knowledge of construction details and methods
Excellent written and oral communication skills
A Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a strong work ethic
Strong freehand illustration and rendering skills
Portfolio or work samples will be required if considered for an interview
