Job Description:
Rubicon Mortgage Advisors LLC, a locally-owned boutique correspondent lender is seeking consumer loan professionals to support its growth in the Upper Midwest market. Positions are available on the direct sales team, responsible for working inbound directed leads in a professional office environment through existing business partnerships. Position is ideal for experienced mortgage loan professionals who prefer providing outstanding customer service vs. outbound telemarketing, or for lending professionals with limited mortgage industry experience that desire a stable career in the dynamic mortgage industry.

Job Qualification Requirements:

  • 2+ years of mortgage origination and/or consumer lending experience
  • Participate in select team meetings, working closely with other Mortgage Loan Originators and Managers to develop best practices for conversion of leads.
  • Use effective listening skills and follow up questions to obtain end goal of conversion.
  • Quick study; Ability to learn and repeat scripts.
  • Ability to work independently in a timely and effective manner to meet individual and team goals.
  • Solid verbal communication skills with pleasant phone presence; Professional demeanor.
  • Motivated and high-energy sales professional; Persistent.
  • Ability to handle rejection without impacting overall performance, Results oriented.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Accurately record and summarize daily calls into a Call Volume Report; Submit report to the manager on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Sales professional who desires structured, professional work environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Two-Year College degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Must pass required employer background check.
  • Currently licensed by NMLS in the State of MN, ND, or WI or be willing to pass required testing as condition of employment.
  • Experience with Conventional, FHA, VA, and RD lending programs; previous mortgage lending industry experience and working knowledge of the industry.
  • Familiarity with Calyx loan origination software system.
  • Advanced degree.
