Project Designer – Land Development
Sambatek, Inc.

Sambatek is currently seeking a Designer for our Land Development team. This individual will assist Project Managers on drafting and design work on various exciting commercial and residential projects, including single and multi-family residential, industrial, retail and office spaces.

Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Assist Project Managers in the drafting and design of land development projects ranging anywhere from 1 to 160 acres
  • Prepare design documents for civil systems (land development, transportation, municipal, drainage, water and sanitary sewer design), including calculations, drawings and civil specifications.
  • Review local zoning codes, preliminary entitlements, process requirement submittals, and permitting requirements
  • Communicate and coordinate project work with all project team members
  • Assist in maintaining client relationships by providing exceptional services and quality through the our deliverables
Required Experience:
  • 3+ years related civil engineering work experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Autodesk Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Software
  • Working knowledge of databases, GIS a plus
  • Strong self-motivation, communication skills (verbal and written), leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks on multiple projects keeping strong attention to detail
