Are you a passionate and motivated Chemical Dependency student looking for an internship?!

River Ridge, LLC. is looking for great students to become our Substance Abuse (LADC) Interns for the Summer & Fall 2020 semester!

River Ridge Treatment Centers’ fundamental objective is to help the chemically dependent person achieve freedom from chemical dependency. Dedicated and skilled specialists in dependency counseling help the chemically dependent individual make the transition from drug and alcohol abuse to structured sobriety and recovery. During this internship you will provide chemical health services to adults admitted into a Rule 31 licensed program and collaborate with our professional Substance abuse team and Mental Health Practitioners.
 
Internship requirements:
  • Enrollment in a chemical dependency education program and official placement at Options as part of a credit bearing internship course.
  • Prefers 30 hours of classroom instruction or one three-credit semester college course in co-occurring disorders and experience working in the behavioral health field. 
  • Due to the intensive nature of this setting, second-semester interns with previous River Ridge experience are preferred.
