Sambatek is currently seeking a Sr. Project Engineer for our Transportation group. This individual will be playing a leading role in designing and preparing plans for a variety of exciting transportation projects. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform preliminary layout and design of transportation improvement projects, including highways, roadways, intersections, trails, sidewalk systems, and transit facilities
- Assist in preparing design calculations, plan preparation and cost estimates
- Review local zoning codes, preliminary entitlements process requirement and submittals and permitting requirements and submittals
- Collaborate with project team members to complete projects within scope, budget and on schedule
- Maintain existing client relationships by providing exceptional services and quality through the our deliverables

- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- 5+ years related engineering work experience
- Proficiency with MicroStation CAD and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Strong self-motivation, communication skills (verbal and written), leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks on multiple projects keeping strong attention to detail
