Sambatek is currently seeking a Project Manager to work with a team to execute water/wastewater projects. This individual will help provide leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and design staff, take responsible charge of managing the planning and design of diverse infrastructure projects in wastewater/water treatment and conveyance including QA/QC responsibility, stay abreast of new and innovative approaches to solving wastewater and water challenges. Duties and Responsibilities:
Project Managers are ultimately responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, quality assurance/quality control and completion of specific projects. Project management success dictates the success of the company.
- Manages multi-discipline projects.
- Provide leadership, mentoring and empowerment to other project managers.
- Oversees client relationships, client development, and client retention.
- Prepares and/or authorizes proposals, project budgets, and client presentations on major projects and on projects managed by other project managers.
- Reviews and authorizes budgets of other project managers.
- Coordinates workload and assigns projects to other project managers and support staff.
- Remains at the forefront of emerging industry practices.
- Mitigates team conflict and communication problems.
- Develops long lasting relationships with clients to meet their needs and desires.
- Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering licensed in the State of Minnesota or ability to become licensed within 6 months of hiring.
- 8-10 years of engineering experience, consulting firm experience preferred.
- Previous management experience is a plus.
- Strong self-motivation, communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines.
