Sambatek is currently seeking a CAD Technician/Designer within our Public Services group. This individual will develop clean and accurate plans for various Municipal, Water/Wastewater and Transportation projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation/GEOPAK. This work may include profiles, utilities, design for roadway layouts, signing, striping, SWPPP, parking lot layouts and other various aspects of civil engineering projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for performing the necessary CAD drafting tasks to prepare preliminary and final plans
- Complete work within the scope, budget and on schedule
- Communicate and collaborate on project work with all project team members
- Maintain and organize project files in the network project folder
- Complete specific quality control tasks at the direction of the PM or Sr. Project Engineer

- Associate Degree in CAD Technology or related field
- 2-5 years of progressive CAD experience
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation/GEOPAK, Windows OS and Microsoft Office Products
- Ability to manage and manipulate Civil 3D styles
- Working knowledge of databases, GIS knowledge a plus
- Strong self-motivation, communication skills (written and verbal), leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks on multiple projects with great attention to detail
