As a LSIT/Survey Crew Chief, you would be involved in aggressively timed projects located throughout North Dakota.  You would be responsible for collecting quality field survey data; preparing field drawings and high quality field notes of each project in accordance with company and general survey standards; overseeing the operation and maintenance of survey equipment, supervising field crew personnel, ensuring project objectives are met and exhibiting positive client/public relations in the field.  Crew Chief Surveyor experience in boundary, topographic surveys and construction staking is preferred.

Specific Requirements:
  • Familiarity with surveyor hardware and software, particularly Trimble Robotic Total Stations, Trimble GPS and level, as well as Trimble Access data collection software.  Knowledge of Trimble GeoMatics Office software desired.
  • Strong communication, organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license (driving record verification is required).
  • Ability to staff projects in remote areas for the duration of the project.
  • Possessing or intent to gain ND LSIT and ultimately ND PLS licensure is preferred.
