We are currently seeking a Survey CAD Technician, which is a highly productive position that has the primary responsibility of preparing our survey project documents. This individual will be required to assemble and analyze pertinent reference data prior to the commencement of field work, including boundary research and legal description analysis from online research and supplied documents. This individual will also be responsible for the processing of field data to create an assortment of project documents including Certificate of Survey, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Survey, preliminary and final Subdivision Plat and Topographic Survey drawings. All drawings are required to meet Sambatek or project CAD standards. In addition, you will be responsible for communicating and coordinating project work with the project team.

Specific Requirements
  • Associates of Applied Science in Land Surveying or 5 years of applicable Surveying experience
  • 2-3 years of experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D in a surveying setting
  • Ability to assist with writing and editing legal descriptions
  • Knowledge of practices and procedures within the land surveying and civil engineering environments
  • ArcGIS and/or Microstation/GeoPAK experience is a plus
  • LSIT licensing is a plus
