Sambatek is looking for an experienced Construction/Field Engineer to provide construction observation on an exciting wastewater treatment plant project in Clear Lake, Wisconsin. The project will kick off in April 2017 and construction will take 18-24 months. Primary duties include construction observation to evaluate the means and methods of construction operations and ensure that the work is conforming to the plans and specifications. Additional duties include submittal review, communication (Project Manager, Owner and Contractor) and comprehensive documentation (daily reports, quantities, schedule, construction records, etc.). A good candidate will have previous construction observation or field engineer experience with treatment facilities.

Specific Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Bachelor’s Degree Civil/Construction Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in observation and documentation of construction activity.
- Valid Driver's License (driving record verification is required) and your own transportation
- Ability to interact with others and understand their needs, issues and situations
- Ability to travel out of town for long durations and work nights and weekends as needed.
- Experience in construction contract administration
- Experience working with city government and municipal infrastructure personnel.
- Construction staking or field survey experience
- Design experience or training with drafting software
- Previous wastewater treatment plant inspection experience a plus
