Accepting applications for: Associate Dean of Students

The Associate Dean is responsible for working with the Dean of Education in the academic integrity of the campus and educational needs of its population.

Responsibilities of this position:

• Supervision and support of academic staff in absence of Dean of Students.
• Provide support to students including: advising, scheduling, concerns, academic progress.
• Manage Master Schedule process including creation, cancellation and communicating with other campuses as well as meeting deadlines for Master Schedule.
• Monitor incoming student population for schedule concerns.
• Assist in processing of all withdrawals per school policy.
• Assist in reporting population and retention statistics to corporate.
• Communicate pertinent information to staff and faculty.
• Attend weekly management meetings in absence of DOS.
• Conduct academic administration meetings weekly in absence of DOS.
• Assisting in tracking student progress (Satisfactory Academic Progress).
• Oversee quarterly student advising, course recommendations and class scheduling process to ensure students are able to complete their program in a timely fashion. Maintain student/teacher ratio effectively utilizing personnel, facilities and scheduling.
• Maintain student retention of 90% or above quarterly, 70% annually.
• Coordinate and conduct new student registration.
• Facilitate room scheduling on campus.
• Assist in orientation and graduation.
• Process summer outs, between quarter drops and program transfers/ single subjects
• Attend faculty in-service when topic is applicable to position.
