Job Description:

Position Overview
To provide clinical services to children within Fraser's Autism Center of Excellence, including planning and implementing appropriate treatment services, under the supervision of the program manager. As a Mental Health Practitioner, your responsibilities may include: Day Treatment or Therapy (individual, group, or family).
Qualifications
Education/ Licensure:
  • Holds a masters or other graduate degree in one of the mental health professional disciplines from an accredited college/university.
  • Qualified as a Mental Health Practitioner with a Master's degree. Must be on track towards independent clinical licensure on disciplines as follows:
a. LICSW
b. LPCC
c. LMFT
Experience:
  • Experience with preschool age children with special needs.
  • Demonstrated respect for and sensitivity to family and cultural issues.
  • Ability to accurately observe and document behavior of children.
Other Requirements:
  • Driving: Valid Minnesota Driver's License with acceptable record required. to read Fraser's Vehicle Safety & Driver Eligibility policy.
  • Ability to achieve and maintain status of "may provide direct contact for this agency" upon completed of criminal background studies.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with peers and other professionals.
  • Must have the physical health and stamina to work on a consistent basis with children who have special needs. Must be able to lift and carry 40 pounds.

Schedule
Full time, regular, 40 hours per week, benefit eligible position. This position would be working 40 hours/week Monday through Friday during standard business hours. Clinic hours run until 7:00pm and we have our MHP II's stay two evenings a week to meet client needs.
