Inside Sales Consultant

Requirements:

• Strong phone etiquette
• Ability to work independently and with different people and departments
• Ability to learn and react quickly
• Understanding of library practices preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High Energy
• Positive Attitude
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively

Education & Experience:

• One - Two years of phone or sales experience, and/or educational industry experience
• One year or more of college course work

Responsibilities Include:

• Contact prospective customers and effectively communicate Mackin’s numerous services
• Develop and follow up on leads from multiple sources
• Web registrants, bids and quotations, collection development, inactive customers, customer inquiries, courtesy calls
• Assist National Sales Consultants in selling efforts

Hours/Compensation:

• Full Time Position:  Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week
• Competitive hourly rate plus incentive
