The Goodman Group, a privately held company, has seen substantial growth since its early beginnings in 1965. Today, our senior living, health care, and residential communities provide homes and services for tens of thousands of residents and employment for over four thousand individuals. The Goodman Group has been set up to provide stability for our residents and employees in perpetuity. We will maintain planned growth through the acquisition and development of additional communities, life enriching programs, and services as we continue to fulfill our mission statement. Our mission is to create and manage living environments that emphasize quality of life and enable residents and staff to achieve an optimum level of well-being.

Yesterday – A Family Business Grows and Changes

In the mid 1960s, Sidney Goodman began acquiring and developing residential apartment communities, commercial properties, and health care centers. In 1976, John Goodman began to expand the company by diversifying and creating some of the country’s most unique senior living and health care communities, intergenerational learning centers, and a design and development division.

Today – The Journey of Growth Continues

Through the development and management of communities throughout the United States and globally, The Goodman Group continues to expand. This growth includes new communities, programs, and life enriching activities. Each of The Goodman Group communities share in the common spirit of caring about what they do and the people they serve.
