On my honor, I will try:

To serve God* and my country,
To help people at all times,
And to live by the Girl Scout Law.

Girl Scouts River Valleys Purpose

To boldly lead as an anti-racist organization that uplifts and empowers every girl to know their worth and lead in their world.

For Every Girl

Diversity and inclusion have been core values of Girl Scouts since its founding in 1912. Girl Scouts River Valleys and Girl Scouts of the USA value diversity in all its forms and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, religion, alienage or national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, age, disability, gender, marital status, familial status, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identification, genetic information, public assistance, local human rights commission activity, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local laws.

At Girl Scouts River Valleys, we are committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for every girl and her family.

Employment

Meaningful work. Joyful journey.

Whether you were a Girl Scout as a kid, a troop leader, or this big world of Girl Scouts (it’s a global movement!) is new to you, we think you might have found us because you are as excited as we are to champion our mission of building girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.

All staff support the mission—and in a myriad of ways. We have staff running camps; developing curriculum and hosting girl programs; fundraising and advocating as thought leaders on what girls need today; sharing the inspiring stories of Girl Scouts; supporting our volunteers (there are 9,000 of them!); managing our retail shops; maintaining our many properties; overseeing the biggest girl-run business in the world (cookies!); and working to align our business processes with cutting edge technology and strategies. And SO MUCH MORE!

Those are just a few examples of what it takes to support 25,400 girls as they discover the greatness within themselves. We’re proud to be one of the top Girl Scouts councils in the nation with a reputation for being a pioneer in volunteer management, youth development, and program innovation.
