A Brief History In 1977, operating out of his garage, and then in a shop in his hometown of Mt. Horeb, Dave Jones established his business. He "did it all" earning multiple professional licenses in the plumbing trade. In 1985, he acquired a heating and cooling company to expand his service offerings under one roof. By 1992, growth warranted a move to Madison for closer proximity to customers and major suppliers. In October 2005, the company moved into its newly constructed headquarters at 2225 Kilgust Road. The 30,000 square foot facility that includes prefabrication equipment for plumbing and heating, as well as administrative offices and an expansive warehouse, was essential for the company's continued growth and technological advancement in its industry. The building provides the necessary support for their 100 dedicated employees, and was named the 2006 "New Building of the Year" award by the City of Monona. In 2008, Dave added to his promise of "One Call Does it All" by acquiring a local fire sprinkling business. The dedicated employees of Dave Jones Fire Protection provide design, installation, and service of fire protection systems throughout Wisconsin.
