The Artisan Cheese Exchange was founded in 2006 by Chris and Julie Gentine in response to a global demand for American artisan and specialty cheese.  The Artisan Cheese Exchange acts as the bridge between U.S. cheesemakers and their international customers, providing national consolidation, export documentation, and excellent logistics to ensure efficient and cost effective shipment of product overseas.

Recognizing specific consumer needs in both the domestic and international marketplace, The Artisan Cheese Exchange has since developed two proprietary national brands – Deer Creek Specialty & World Cheddars and Apollo’s Gift Lactose Free Cheese.
