Company Overview
Wisconsin Youth Company (WYC), a non-profit organization, manages the following programs or features:
  • AFTER SCHOOL:  since 1974, WYC has provided school age children with supervised recreational and informal educational programs. Our goal is the development of children functioning effectively as self-directed individuals. Conducts before and after school programs at 36 schools in Dane, Rock and Waukesha Counties.
  • Summer Day Camps:  daily theme-based fun that gets kids involved, moving and creating while exploring new interests and developing lifetime skills.
  • Immersion Camps:  for those with a strong interest in or passion for languages, circus or theater get first-class instruction to build their skills, all while working towards their end-of-camp performances.
  • Middle School U:  middle school age students can pursue a hobby or build life skills in a range of hands-on courses with the just the right amount of supervision enhancing their growing independence.
  • Wander Wisconsin:  unique adventures and camping experiences for youth ages 8-15. Choose from day trips close to home, weekend or week-long travel throughout Wisconsin, or multi-week treks across the country.
  • Celebrating Youth!this is our day to let young people know how much we value their contributions to our communities. In partnership with Brava we coordinate 20 youth performing groups on center stage at Kids Expo in March.
  • World Language:  one-hour language classes covering a variety of languages for students in grades K-5 at various locations in the Madison, Middleton and Verona schools.
