Susan Wingert, our founder, believed that patients with medical complexities could thrive at home, versus merely surviving in the hospital. She was right. And in 1990, she opened the doors of Pediatric Home Service to help children live safely and successfully where they're most comfortable.
Since we opened, thousands of kids have outlived expectations and lived every minute fully, thanks to the compassionate, high-quality medical care we bring them and their families, in their home, where children thrive.
We specialize in helping kids be kids - at home - no matter what their medical challenges.
For the last 25 years, we've provided compassionate, specialized, high quality care to children and adolescents in their own homes, where they are most comfortable and have the best chance to survive and thrive. From day one, our mission has been to do everything possible to help children live life to the fullest despite medical challenges most people can't even imagine.
Care designed for kids:
We work almost exclusively with children. Everyone at PHS - including respiratory therapists, infusion and home care nurses, pharmacists, dietitians, social workers, educators and support staff - understands the different needs of infants, children and adolescents and is dedicated to their care and comfort. We have the experience and expertise to anticipate and help with the expected and the unexpected.
Comprehensive pediatric services and staff:
From help with paperwork to in-home services to responding to an emergency middle-of-the-night call for medication. Our team does whatever is needed, whenever it's needed. We are comprised of both clinical and operational teams who work together to ensure no detail is missed and that each child and their family can thrive at home.
