Company Overview
Helena Autism believes a strong family makes a strong child.
That’s why we take care to include parents/caregivers and siblings in our programs. Through in-home or center-based sessions, you and your child’s siblings participate in weekly training and therapies. Your participation in these sessions helps your work and play with your child be more effective, resulting in more joy for everyone.

Autists are the ultimate square pegs, and the problem with pounding a square peg into a round hole is not that the hammering is hard work. It's that you're destroying the peg. - Paul Collins

Families are encouraged to visit their child during the therapy day.
Sibling play sessions can also be scheduled in-center to enhance social interaction and provide a sense of inclusion for children not in the program. Parent meetings are scheduled every three months or more to address your child’s progress, any questions or concerns you may have, and future planning.

Children and families feel empowered when they have the right tools and practical skills.
We know a diagnosis of ASD does not end at age seven and your child and your family will continue to need these valuable tools. It is for this reason that we provide extensive outside resources and collaborate with your family and other service providers to develop plans that can be applied in the home and transitioned into the school years.
