Job Description
  • Oversee Lindbergh (T1), Humphrey (T2), and Valet parking lot operations.
  • Assist in the supervision of cashiers, temporary employees, car runners, maintenance personnel, inventory, and control room assistants.
  • Assist customers with locating vehicles.
  • Approve exception transactions such as reductions, promissory notes, over rings, mutilated tickets, deleted credit cards, and refund request letters.
  • Distribute memos, verbal coaching, and schedules. Ensure proper quantities of operational logs and forms are available and make copies when needed.
  • Ensure that all employees are in compliance with the company uniform policy and personal grooming guidelines.
  • Assist guests with questions, concerns, complaints, comments, and directions, via phone, e-mail, intercom, or in person.
  • Repair gate arms, ticket dispensers, and reboot gate cabinet systems and computers when necessary. This would include notification of system errors or malfunctions to Zeag and Landside.
  • Assist in the coordination of any direction of traffic due to ramp closures, openings, and diversions. Also includes the coordination of additional staffing needed to assist in these tasks.
  • Complete and review Cashier Shift Reports at the end of Cashier shift.
  • Inspect company vehicles for damage and complete inspection logs.
  • Complete incident reports needed to document damage, theft, or personal injury claims. This would include accident reports, and worker compensation claims.
  • The ability to perform union duties such as cashiering, car running, maintenance, control room assistant, shoveling, snowplowing, and inventory in emergencies situations in compliance with the union contract.
  • Coordinate with vendor and police the towing of illegally parked and relocated vehicles.
  • Document all absences and tardiness of assigned team members. Also responsible for scheduling of union members and call-ins when necessary.
  • Contact upper management for any questions, complaints, suggestions, and decisions involving operational issues.
  • Conduct security vehicle inspections using under carriage mirrors and inspect trunks, trailers, and interiors for suspicious activity as needed.
  • Assist in the coordination of construction contractors, project managers for maintenance, construction projects, and the relocation of vehicles.
  • Inspect ramps, parking equipment, signs, and all aspects of the parking facilities for damage, lighting issues, or in need of cleaning and submit the appropriate work order.
  • Enforce all ABM Parking Services and MAC policies and procedures.
  • All other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS *

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must provide a valid driver's license meeting the company's MVR criteria.
  • Must pass Airport security screening.
  • Must be willing to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must demonstrate proven leadership skills.
  • Must be able to converse in fluent English.
  • Must be able to read and write English.
  • Must have computer skills including working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
  • Previous experience in customer service and/or management desired.
  • Previous experience working in union environment a plus.
  • Willing and able to work outdoors in all climates of weather.
