Experience working in an Agile Environment
As the Test Analyst- Product you will be responsible to support the overall quality of project release cycle testing results. In addition, you will become an expert on business processes and workflow within the assigned area.
A Day in the Life
Work closely with Business subject matter experts to create and augment test cases while supporting the execution during release windows
Collaborate with the development team to clarify requirements, provide feedback on release quality and ensures defects identification and resolution occurs on time
Candidate will produce realistic testing timelines and assist in securing the appropriate resources
Will engage with SME resources to ensure optimum coverage through testing cycles, track the number of test cases executed within a specific time
Document incidents and defects and provide adequate data to allow for rapid resolution
Participate in daily stand-up meetings, defect triage calls
Hands on engagement in executing business activities as directed
Support acquisition team members with order troubleshooting and system issues
Identify skill gaps within the team and plan for training & education sessions
Assist in the system training of new hires
Collaborate with the acquisition team to handle spikes in activity throughout the year
Document the results of test execution and generate metrics to demonstrate progress throughout the year
Assist in the creation of testing standards and propagate the same to the team members across the projects
Assist with setting and following the Quality guiding principles for delivering the ordering project
Communicate quality standards and parameters to the testing team, product development team, and other appropriate stakeholders.
Provide input on the generation of automated test scripts
Work with IT QA team members to develop testing best practices
Assist in augmenting business process maps contributing to departmental SOPs
Work with Business Analysts and business team members to enhance process maps as new functionality is delivered
Partner with multiple departments to ensure an integrated business and technical solution
Leverage lean and/or Six Sigma methods to design and implement process efficiencies
Requirements
An undergraduate degree in business, is preferred or 5+ years' business experience in Automotive/Fleet/Finance or similar
Experience working in an Agile Environment along with some experience in Jira/Confluence
MS Office skills required
Candidate should have some experience working on enterprise system development projects, contributing to requirement gathering, creating test cases, and process flows.
Demonstrate exposure to multiple, diverse applications and processing environments
Experience in the Fleet Industry would be an added advantage
Document defects in the prescribed tracking tools and update as required along with re-testing through closure
Demonstrate strong stakeholder management. Candidate must be comfortable interacting with cross functional teams - business & IT stakeholders
Expected to independently drive troubleshooting and resolve issues and roadblocks
Candidate must be able to effectively manage conflict scenarios
Identify solution constraints and analyze alternatives, mitigate risks, and conduct re-evaluation as necessary with respect to process/solution.
Demonstrate an ability to work in fast paced environments, work under pressure, and manage changing requirements
Ability to streamline processes where deficiencies are identified
