Job Summary:

Drives gasoline or diesel powered tractor trailer combination to transport and deliver product.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Deliver grinded debris a Live bottom trailer, also known as a walking floor trailer

  • Drive truck at the job site.
  • Inspect truck for defects before and after trips and submits report indicating truck condition.
  • Maintain driver log according to I.C. regulations.
  • Assist workers in loading and unloading truck.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Essential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of six months related experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Current CDL A Driver's License.
  • Clean driving record.

  • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Meets productivity standards.
  • Observes safety and security procedures; uses equipment and materials properly.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; duck walk, reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

May vary from site to site and in some cases be greater or lesser than indicated here.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; outside weather conditions and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
