Job Description

Foundry Production Supervisor
This position will be responsible for the management of our Drysand foundry production operations to maintain compliance with CWI work instructions, ISO and Nadcap certification standards.

Foundry Supervisor Qualifications: This position will be required to manage production employees, meet production schedule deadlines, and maintain the highest standards of quality to guarantee only world-class products are being delivered to our customers.

Supervisor Education:  The position requires a two or four year degree, or equivalent supervisory or management experience.

Why not work on our Carley Foundry Management Department Team?  You will have the opportunity to supervise all aspects of our drysand foundry production operations to assure that we are producing castings to the highest quality.  The job responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:



Employee management: This position will direct and assist employees to achieve excellent quality of workmanship. Including ensuring that employees can properly operate equipment,
effectively, process daily timecards, employee time off requests, reviews, discipline, grievances, lay-offs, discharges, etc.


Scheduling: This position is responsible for meeting or exceeding the Master Schedule. Including scheduling of product moved through the department, organizing manpower to meet daily production requirements, meet department efficiency goals and maintain highest quality standards, responsible for timely and accurate reporting of production quantities, scrap, material usage, and labor hours.

Equipment, Materials, Process management:  This position is responsible for ensuring that procedures are in place to maintain proper condition of equipment. If technical problems arise, communicate, and assist in developing recovery plan. This position works with various department including purchasing to order adequate supplies of materials are available for production requirements, Maintenance and Pattern Shop to ensure equipment is operational. Establishing procedures for process control to assure that process is effective.

SALARY - $65,000 to $80,000 dependent on years of relevant experience

HOURS will be on 2nd shift - per week 45
