Bachman's was founded in 1885 and remains a family-owned business, with fifth-generation Bachman family members leading the company today. Bachman's operates six full-service Floral, Gift & Garden Centers throughout the Twin Cities, a shop in the Galleria, a Hardscapes Center in Farmington, and 29 floral departments within Lunds & Byerlys grocery stores. Additionally, Bachman's operates indoor and outdoor landscaping divisions, a weddings and special events department, a wholesale nursery division, seven acres of greenhouses, and a 670-acre growing range in Lakeville, Minn., which produces many of the plants, flowers, and landscaping products sold by Bachman's today.

Duties:

• Sell patio furniture, grills, statuary, fountains and accessories.
• Engage with customers within the outdoor living area.
• Work directly on the sales floor: assisting customers, answering phones and using registers.
• Process all store transactions according to established procedures.
• Ensure that the outdoor living space is merchandised and maintained according to visual guidelines.
• Interact with customers and build relationships.
• Provide a high level of service and product expertise to customers.
• Accurately complete all customer transactions, receiving and transferring product.

Qualifications:

• Ability to stand the entire shift.
• Good customer service skills, people friendly, responsible and dependable required.
• Ability to read, write, calculate basic math and perform basic computer skills is a must.
• High energy level.
• Able to work in a team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to follow through on work direction.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs. with frequent bending
• Able to work in a range of conditions- can be very hot in outdoor living area.
• Experience with patio furniture/ grills a plus but not a requirement.
• Previous sales experience preferred.
