Exciting opportunity for a Strategic Account Manager:

Job Summary:

This is an opportunity to pioneer the Strategic Account Manager role. This position is responsible for retaining, renewing, and growing our largest accounts.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Manager own book of business (complex business models and broad insurance needs) and handle incoming tasks
  • Renew and retain customers, handle any cancellations
  • Account growth (endorsements and additional policies)

Qualifications:

Education/Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree in business or relevant area of study
  • 3-5 years' experience managing a book of commercial insurance accounts
  • Valid Property and Casualty license
  • Experience with commercial insurance renewals, account growth, account retention, and servicing (endorsements, certificates, etc.)

Technical:

  • Basic digital literacy, G suite preferred and Salesfoce a plus.
  • Strong ability to communicate via email and phone.

Professional:

  • Ability to build strong relationships, initiate action and adjust to change are key attributes to this role
  • Demonstrated strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Self-motivated creative problem solver with strong analytical skills
  • Ability to take the initiative to gather and use customer feedback to identify both needs and opportunities
