YOUR LIFE AS A CONSTRUCTION PROJECT ENGINEER INTERN
This is a fall internship with an expected start date of September 1st, 2022. All applications and information must be submitted by August 1st.
In this intern position, you are ready to learn and eager to develop your skills. Alongside our team of project managers and superintendents, you assist with various day-to-day tasks both in the office and at the job site. You are a friendly person who builds positive relationships and collaborates with designers, builders, vendors, and site managers. Using our project management software, you manage important project documentation such as contracts, invoices, insurance, and reports. You review drawings for any changes and keep an updated record of requests for information (RFIs) and transmitters.
With our online contract documentation system, you verify and distribute contracts, verify subcontractors, and secure all proper paperwork from subcontractors and suppliers. You collaborate with the team and the managers throughout a project's lifecycle, organizing schedules and maximizing productivity wherever possible. When requested, you also provide administrative support for your team. You feel great about supporting our company and diving head-first into the world of construction project engineering!
