API Application Analyst

Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois (Chicagoland preferred)

We are currently seeking an API Application Developer that will assist in expanding the use of APIs both internally and externally by developing APIs to better integrate core and LOB (Lines of Business) systems and provide value-add functionality. The API Application Developer will maintain APIs through continuous improvement/development processes to protect Old National clients and the organization itself while improving functionality.

Key Accountabilities

Design and develop microservice APIs following enterprise standards
• Analyze and understand provider system interfaces and data.
• Document system flows, data mappings, and design
• Contribute to the coding patterns and practices of the team
• Collaborate and problem solve with peers, vendors, IT partners and business lines

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• 3+ years of integration development experience, Mulesoft preferred.
• The ability to communicate effectively across IT and the business, and the courage to question how things are done.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Full understanding of integration design patterns and the API lifecycle.
• Prior banking industry experience preferred.
