Engage Technologies is the parent company of Squid Ink Manufacturing, a company that manufacturers Industrial ink jet printers and industrial case taping equipment for the packaging industry. They have a need for a Mechanical Designer or (Jr.) Mechanical Engineer specializing in the design of the Industrial printers, utilizing ProE software.Highlights:- ProE Design of Industrial Ink Jet Printers, mainly for the packaging industry- Experience with manifolds, enclosures, various welding techniques and assemblies.- Knowledge of injection molding, plastics, sheet metal components, stainless steel, and/or aluminum is preferred- Knowledge of various packaging techniques (i.e. Materials Science coursework)- Run and Operate Engage's internal MRP System (Syspro) - Engineering Change Orders, Bill of Materials, etc.- Ability to work in cross-functional teams, i.e. engineering, production, technical writing, marketing, etc.

- Ideal candidate will be a Mechanical Engineer (B.S. Degree) with 1 - 2 years of experience with ProE Design and knowledge of Packaging techniques. Willing to look at Entry-Level with Internship. - Also willing to look at a Mid - Senior level Mechanical Designer (Associates Degree) with 5+ years of experience with ProE Design.- Experience with manifolds, enclosures, various welding techniques and assemblies.- Knowledge of injection molding, plastics, sheet metal components, stainless steel, and/or aluminum is preferred- Knowledge of various packaging techniques (i.e. Materials Science coursework)- Knowledge of Engineering Change Orders, Bill of Materials, etc.- Ability to work in cross-functional teams, i.e. engineering, production, technical writing, marketing, etc.
