LOCATION: Plymouth

JOB SUMMARY:
The Assistant Manager of Indirect Lending is responsible for providing direction, support and guidance to the Indirect Lending department and staff, and serving as a backup to the VP/Indirect Lending Manager. The Assistant Manager of Indirect Lending is also responsible for ensuring the day-to-day operational support of the Indirect Lending Department is being addressed in a timely manner, consistent with credit union standards. This includes providing a superior level of service to achieve individual and department sales goals.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of consumer credit granting experience with underwriting authority.
  • Experience and knowledge in the financial or service industry with emphasis on indirect lending.
  • Current knowledge of lending practices and laws.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills, maturity, and good judgment.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve situations independently.
  • Must possess well-developed skills in verbal and written communication.
  • Role model of positive personal projection as demonstrated by professional appearance and attitude.
  • Comfortable working in a complex, competitive, and rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, effectively delegate, and set deadlines.
  • Ability to move about and communicate with a diverse membership, employee group and Indirect Lending strategic partner group.
  • Ability to accomplish the described responsibilities through the use of computers and technology.
  • Ability to work in a changing, challenging and fast paced work environment.
  • Provide own transportation for occasional business travel.
  • Maintain compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and all its provisions.
  • Required to be compliant with the terms and conditions outlined in TruStone Financial's SAFE Act Policy, which includes the submission of fingerprints, the successful completion of an FBI background check and maintaining current and compliant registration in Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
  • Ability to pass all pre-employment drug test and various background checks.
  • Responsible for regular and reliable attendance at the workplace.

HOURS: Scheduled for 40-hours per week between the hours of Monday through Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm; Exempt.
