As a Product Designer at Urban FT, you will work closely with the other designers and stakeholders on every stage of the product development process to address design changes and improvements throughout our products. Candidates should be comfortable working with Figma and have passion and patience for being a designer in the B2B2C space. Have the right mindset to look for creative ways to overcome challenges that are brought about by not having direct access to the end-users.

This role is based in our Minneapolis office.

Who we are looking for:

* Proactive self-starter with good organizational and time management skills

* 2-4 years of experience designing user-centric products. It's a plus if your previous experience includes working on a B2B2C product or service

* Adaptable and quick learner that enjoys tackling a large variety of problems

* Curiosity is your second nature. You are not afraid to ask questions and have the drive to find the answers.

* You believe in sweating the details, care about quality, and take pride in going the extra mile

* Customer advocate who evangelizes user-centered design practices within the business.

What will you bring to Urban FT:

* Passion for product design. Ability to handle design work at all stages of the design process including researching, defining the problem, concepting, wireframing, prototyping and creating high-fidelity final designs.

* Strong communication skills (visual, written and verbal)

* Ability to explain and debate the reasoning behind your product decisions

* Knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite. Jira is a plus

* Ability to balance working on multiple projects at once, applying yourself to a variety of contexts in parallel

* Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to perform Design QA to ensure high-quality execution

* Design system-centered approach to building experiences. Ability to design whole systems, not just interface elements or static pages

* Ability to build and maintain strong, positive working relationships and collaborate with designers on the team and other stakeholders.
