HID's Engineering Department and Materials Engineering Team:

The Materials Engineering team develops and supports consumables products for use in our identification card printers. Consumables are an important part of our business and play a significant role in our customers' experience with our products. This position supports printer consumables from product conception through end of life.

As ourMaterials Engineer, you'll support HID's successby:

  • Developing new materials with engineering groups for identification card printers.
  • Partnering with engineers and suppliers to improve performance of current materials.
  • Cultivating and maintaining strategic customer and supplier relationships.

What we will love about your background:

  • Ability to work well under pressure and ability to multi-task to meet deadlines.
  • Process engineering experience.
  • Experience with new product line development.

YourExperienceand Education include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in chemical engineering, materials engineering, or materials science.
  • 0-2 years of chemical or materials engineering experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet work deadlines, project completion, meetings during busy periods.
