About You: We are looking for a Restaurant/Special Hazard Fire Suppression Technician for the installation, termination, inspection, maintenance, repair and service of pre-engineered fire suppression systems.

Essential Functions:

• Install mechanical piping and components
• Operate mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure system performance
• Plan and initiate projects
• Install and service mechanical and electronic fire systems
• Install pathways and spaces for installation of mechanical piping
• Lay out, install and verify operation of mechanical fire suppression systems
• Install, test, certify and troubleshoot fire suppression systems
• Meet installation deadlines
• Prefabricate fire systems for field installation
• Responsible for accurate tracking on time sheets, service/installation tickets and inventory items
• Comply with company's and customers' safety program
• Ability to maintain or acquire local licenses and/or required certifications

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong mechanical aptitude including the understanding and use of tools
• Understanding electronic components and circuitry
• Strong communication skills
• Self-starter
• Maintain a high level of professional conduct
