Social Media Graphic Designers at Pathfinders are social-natives, born with a phone in hand and a passion for all things social media related. They are imaginative, creative, and on top of trends. You will be responsible for developing engaging, relevant content across a variety of social media platforms. From beauty and health to automotive and consumer packaged goods, you'd be helping our clients move their businesses forward. We are currently seeking a polished Social Media Graphic Designer to join our Social Media team. This is a full-time, 100% remote eligible, permanent position with our agency located in Mishawaka, IN.

Candidates will be expected to provide or be prepared to provide a portfolio of creative work or links to any social media platforms create or manage a presence on.

What you'd be doing in greater detail:

  • Participate in identifying challenges within the team, developing solutions, and implementing them.
  • Stay up to date on the latest pop-culture, social media and digital marketing trends and be able to apply them to our client's brands.
  • Collaborates with Copywriters on brand voice and tone to develop seamless art/copy creative output designed for social media applications.
  • Continuously improve design, content ideas and executions by working with the data team and Social Media Manager on analyzing social data/metrics, social listening and insights.
  • Content ideation to support brand communication priorities.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Designers develop high-quality content across all relevant social channels.
  • Edit, resize, and add text to photographs/video for social media and blog posts using the Adobe Creative Suite, mobile creative apps, and in-platform tools.
  • Understand and replicate all our clients' brand guidelines across a variety of tactical executions.
  • Constantly analyze clients' and competitors' social media efforts and integrate
  • improvement opportunities.
  • Leverage user-generated content as well as influencer-guided content as part of ongoing strategies and executions.
  • Propose real-time content based on trending social media conversations.
  • Assist with the day-to-day execution of social media campaigns and editorial calendars on social publishing and editing tools.

What we'd like to see in a strong candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing. Graphic Design, Arts or other related field
  • 2+ years of related industry experience (creative agency, digital marketing or consulting)
  • 1+ years successfully creating digital content for social media and other platforms
  • Experience in video editing and production
  • Personal passion and participation on social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Pinterest, TikTok, etc.).
  • Proven design experience for social media and all digital platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Pinterest, TikTok.
  • Experience with social media data analytics reports from various outputs.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, social media in-app tools (channels, publishing and social listening), and creative apps (LightRoom, KiraKira, Unfold, etc.).
  • Creative thinker able to propose disruptive ideas that go beyond the clients' brief.
  • Ability to work on multiple brands and projects simultaneously
  • Ability to come into projects in progress and help troubleshoot and get content completed
  • Able to create compelling messages that convey the stories of our clients through
  • social platforms.
  • Passionate about the creation of content with an understanding of how tone of voice and storytelling generate engagement.
  • Works well under pressure and is capable of remaining focused despite rapidly changing priorities and competing deadlines.
  • Exemplary knowledge of social media platforms
  • Ability to support research-oriented activities
