HID is seeking an operationally focused Finance Leader for our Secure Issuance (SI) Business Area. As the Director of Finance, you will provide insightful and trusted counsel to the VP Finance and the management team on both financial and broad-based business issues related to the overall performance of the business area.

HID's Finance Department:

The Finance department partners with business leaders across the company and drives impact through a grounding in hard data, an independent point of view, business partnership, a collaborative approach, and a focus on the development of our people. We balance the roles of trusted advisor and guardian to reveal opportunity, manage risk, and shape investment decisions across markets and products. Successful candidates for this team have a strategic & operationally focused mindset with strong communication and analysis skills. This corporate finance role will drive and support many of our key cycles and serve as the liaison to Business Unit Finance Directors and other finance teams.


As ourDirector of Finance, you'll support HID's successby:

  • Key finance business partner to the Vice President Finance of CID (Citizen Identity) & SI (Secure Issuance).
  • Effective at establishing a "seat at the table" with the SI team and is considered a critical member of that team.
  • Participating in business reviews with SI Senior Leadership team including the ability to convey key messages through effective presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of business model with demonstrated ability in effectively guiding business in structuring customer agreements that align and optimize the business model.
  • Recommending benchmarks for measuring financial and operating performance. Develop and enhance necessary dashboards to track key metrics and business performance to drive business decisions.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing environments and related matrix.
  • Leading a team in support of the SI Business Area.
  • Providing financial insight to the business in assessing risk and opportunities to achieving its financial commitments. This includes establishing insightful analytics that enable the business to "see around corners" or better anticipate the future.
  • Designing and implement financial processes that deliver consistent and predictable results that link operational performance to the P&L, both top line and EBIT.
  • Proactively collaborates across multifunctional teams to create an environment that strives for global consistency of best practices identified both internally and externally to the organization.
  • Providing financial leadership to meet deliverables during various financial cycles including Monthly Close, Quarterly Business Reviews, Forecast cycles and other ad hoc requests.
  • Working closely with other members of the HID Global Finance team to ensure financial impacts of various business decisions are understood, aligned, and communicated - examples include Global FP&A, Operations & Business Excellence and Global Shared Services.

YourExperienceand Education include:

  • Minimum college degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field from an accredited university. CPA or MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in jobs of increasing responsibility within Finance or Accounting with exposure to international business models
  • Minimum of 3 years of people management experience.
  • Diversity of experience and exposure to a wide range of complex business models.
  • Ability to travel, including internationally.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to convey thoughts and ideas to effectively influence at all levels.
  • Executive presence and excellent presentation skills, including the ability to effectively develop and concisely present financial plans to senior management.
