SCHEDULE

This is a Monday - Friday 8am-5pm in office role that can be based from our location in Blaine MN or Buffalo, MN.

PRIMARY FUNCTION

The recruiting coordinator assists with the overall duties associated with the employee recruitment efforts at Adara Home Health, Inc. This is to include the Corporate Office and Branch Offices. They are actively involved in job fairs, college recruiting, business association meetings, networking, social media, and other activities to generate prospective job candidates. They will utilize sourcing techniques to identify potential sources of new hires, conduct initial screening interview, review resumes, and check references. The Recruiting Coordinator generally reports to the Recruiting Manager.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reflects the company's mission and values in developing and maintaining professional working relationship with others.
  • Reviews job applications, conducts phone screens to find qualified candidates from external and internal sources. Assists with developing sourcing strategies to increase the quality and diversity of the candidate pool.
  • Conducts timely phone screens and measures candidates against a specific job profile. Recommends candidates to hiring managers for in-person interviews. Accountable to scheduling interviews, communicating the details with the candidate and Branch Office.
  • Assists the recruiter in working closely with hiring managers in understanding their businesses need and building trusting and positive relationships by providing recruiting knowledge and solutions.
  • Assists with creating job requisitions and posting them to the appropriate websites. Places standardized ads on websites, newspapers, print media, and radio while allowing some variation by Branch Offices to meet their specific needs and requirements.
  • Maintain websites to ensure job postings are removed and posted within the department service level agreement.
  • Assists in creating reports on all recruitment activities as requested.
  • Accountable to ensure each applicant and candidate is accurately on the requisition they applied to and dispositioned.
  • Working knowledge of State and Federal employment law, EEO, Affirmative Action and Diversity Policies. Gathers documents and maintains candidate information for legal and system's compliance.
  • Monitor and update sourcing and recruiting sites as needed.
  • Assist with System administration of the application tracking system and with requisitions applicant, and candidate management.
  • Participates in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, active networking and participating in professional organizations.
  • Collaborates with employees and other members of the team while maintaining positive and effective communication
  • Maintains confidentiality of all information pertaining to applicants, clients, and employees.
  • Manages work assignments effectively, remains flexible with unexpected changes.

PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS

  • Primarily office work that requires frequent sitting, standing, bending, and stretching.
  • Light. Amount of weight moved; up to 20 pounds occasionally.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Proven work experience in recruiting or in a related field preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; interpersonal communication and teaching skills.
  • Ability to conduct an interview, reference checks and working knowledge of Social Media.
  • Preferred administration experience with Human Resource Information Systems and Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Preferred ability to train on software programs and soft skills.
  • Ability to adapt to change, and manage a variety of assignments while establishing priorities and ensuring the necessary duties are completed.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Strong computer aptitude, willingness to learn new software, and experience with Microsoft Suite.
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Have U.S. Citizenship or evidence of valid Alien Work Permit.
  • Disclose any conviction and criminal history records pertaining to any crime related to the provision of health services. A candidate who has been convicted of such crimes will not be hired.
  • Pass initial and ongoing background studies and screenings including but not limited to those of the Minnesota Department of Health and the Federal Office of the Inspector General's List of Excluded Individuals and Entities.
  • Provide proof you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Medical and religious vaccine exemption requests must be approved by the company before your start date.
