Ecommerce Experience Strategist

Our big brand CPG client is looking for an Ecommerce Experience Strategist, 30-40 hours per week, to join their team for a short-term contract with the possibility of extending. In this role, you will assist in building a seamless experience across internal and external customer touchpoints to drive optimized customer engagement in order to improve sales. You will help build the roadmap for how the client optimizes customer's experience through all Distributor-related touchpoints including the Distributor Website/Ordering Portal, Digital Marketing Levers (email, social, digital ads), and Connections with the sales teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely across a broad cross-functional team to understand Distributor needs, business objectives, marketing strategies, industry challenges, and growth opportunities
  • Develop a roadmap that will enable Distributor-focused strategies that effectively drive growth, build the brand, and help drive Connected Commerce strategy
  • Define the ideal holistic customer experience strategy through Distributor-specific touchpoints
  • Proactively engage with key business stakeholders across the company to bring forward the needs of Distributor-related marketing touchpoints

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or relevant discipline
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Marketing, Sales, or Distributor-specific work
  • Comfort in defining and refining work in ambiguous situations
  • Big-picture thinker with a futuristic view of "what could be"
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and timelines
  • Ability to demonstrate a creative approach to problem-solving that leverages and challenges current thinking
  • Skilled at using data to drive decisions and translate data analysis into actionable marketing/media recommendations and customer experiences
  • Ability to communicate effectively with business partners and leaders across levels, functions and cultures, positively influencing the advancement of priorities
  • Experience working in a matrixed/cross-functional organization
  • Experience in Foodservice or other CPG B2B marketing or sales organizations
  • Experience in organizations pursuing digital transformation; experience working in Agile/Product teams a plus
