Overview

Mental Health Clinical Trainees work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing holistic, integrated mental health treatment for individuals with a mental health diagnosis. Trainees on our multidisciplinary teams provide direct therapeutic services as well as clinical oversight and direction for other mental health services for clients on their multidisciplinary team. This a critical role in helping us work toward our mission of integrated and holistic mental health services to the individuals we serve. We approach therapy in a unique way, providing wrap around care that includes both clinical therapy and skills services to clients in home, in the community, and in the office.

Pay Pay is $25/hr. Also, this position starts as hourly but qualifying employees will shift to salary at successful completion of the training period.

Responsibilities

Mental Health Clinical Trainees help clients work toward their recovery visions by doing the following:

• Providing individual, group, family therapy and skills (ARMHS or CTSS) services to clients
• Completing diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, CASIIs, SDQs, and all other required assessment work
• Providing consultation and care coordination with natural supports, school other professionals
• Assessing functional strengths, resources needs
• Developing individualized, person-centered treatment/community support plans
• Implementing the interventions identified in the plan
• Referring persons served to other needed services, resources & supports coordinating and monitoring the quality these services
• Maintaining detailed records of all activities

Qualifications

Mental Health Clinical Trainees must meet the following qualifications. Please review these qualifications and do not apply if you do not meet these qualifying methods.

• Employees must have the ability to pass MVR check, maintain a valid driver's license and vehicle insurance.
• Holds an active LGSW or LPC license (LPC candidate if licensure not yet obtained)
• Holds an active LICSW, LPCC, LMFT
• Approved by the applicable licensing board to begin a clinical training placement.
